not today;
Sunshine and happiness,
Awaiting every day.
Waking to goodness,
No obstacles in the way.
Springs in each step,
An uplifted heart.
A calming night’s sleep,
Life off to a new start.
With nine to five hours,
A close family grew.
Checking in on others,
Outside, each other knew.
True weekends so epic,
Baseball, soccer, a day at the beach.
Living life in a picnic,
Daydreaming like a peach.
Firecrackers and smoke bombs,
Nieces, nephews loved the best.
Shh, don’t tell your moms,
It’s our little secret.
Ah, living!
Laughing!
Loving!
But… oh, so longing…
Darkness closes the evening,
Alone in the home.
Beginning the grieving,
Getting lost in the zone.
See, it’s inside mysteries lay,
Sometimes it’s evil side.
Where games are at play,
And minds begin to divide.
Sunshine and happiness,
Springs in each step.
Nine to five hours,
True weekends so epic.
Sadly, firecrackers, smoke bombs
Fogging many a mind,
Creating confusions,
Some, choosing to end the line…
Friends, truly to care
Is to reach inside,
Finding deep in there,
Where evil will hide.
Look deep within,
As far as allowed.
And then further in,
Fear not the crowd.
Distinguish smoke bombs,
Clear out the air.
Allow them freedom,
Showing your care.
She needs to see;
He needs to know.
It’s not time to leave,
Not time to go home.
Their home, Your home is here!
Life does get tough.
Shed a tear but do not fear,
Simply, turn to us.
Every day is a beginning.
I need you; you need me.
I love you, you should too.
YOU are a beautiful person!
Sunshine and happiness
Awaits every day.
Wake to goodness,
Don’t let obstacles block your way.
They say suicide is painless, is it?
In the US, every 11 minutes someone chooses to leave this world. With all of the war and suffering, homelessness and famine, with “social media” taking the social out of the equation, and natural death taking our loved ones, the young and old feel more isolated than ever. Pain happens. Question is, how much pain can you handle and who will help you get through it. No, you do not need to go through it alone. It does not matter who you are, where you are, what time of day or night, someone is always with you. Open your eyes and open your heart letting the love in front of you in. Know that those who hurt you are hurting as well and may need your empathy and compassion. The struggles you experience, they experience as well. You are a beautiful person, give yourself a chance. Often it is in helping others that we help ourselves. You are stronger than you know, look in that mirror and say, “I am big, I am strong, and I can do it.” You are and you can. I love you, so should you.
